Transplant Support Group

The Liver, Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Support Group is a monthly support group for patients awaiting transplant, as well as those who have received a transplant.

Patients are encouraged to bring their caregivers. The group meets the second Monday of every month, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Braemer Building, Fox Room, 5501 Old York Road, Philadelphia, PA, 19141. Parking vouchers and refreshments are provided.

Topics include (but are not limited to) nutrition, Gift of Life, writing to donor families after transplant, insurance issues and much more. Meetings may also feature guest speakers, including post-transplant coordinators (RNs), surgeons and financial coordinators.
