AL DIA NewsMedia will present “Media and the City,” a discussion on representations of race, ethnicity and identity through the media at the National Museum of American Jewish History .
Sabrina Vourvoulias, AL DIA news media managing editor, will serve as moderator. Panel participants include Elisabeth Perez Luna, executive producer of audio content at WHYY; Helen Ubinas, columnist for the Philadelphia Daily News; Lisa Hostein, executive editor of the Jewish Exponent; Dr. Richard Cooper, producer and host at WYRD radio and www.900AMWUR; Gary Kramer, past president of the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association; and Bobbi Booker, lifestyle and leisure reporter for The Philadelphia Tribune.
