Members of Federation’s Legacy Society — men and women who have elected to perpetuate their philanthropy by creating endowments now or through estate planning — were honored for their generosity and vision during a
recent reception at 2100 Arch Street in Philadelphia.

For the first time in the event’s history, the reception was combined with a remembrance ceremony that honored those generous community members who passed away during the Hebrew year 5773 and remembered Federation through either a lifetime or planned gift. Rabbi Joel Seltzer, director of Camp Ramah in the Poconos led the service.

The event was co-chaired by Karen and Bill Kramer and Evelyn and Ed Rosen. Mark S. Blaskey, president of the Federation Endowments Corporation, welcomed guests and Ken Smukler offered personal reflections on L’dor v’dor.

For more information about becoming a Legacy Society member, please call Rachel A. Gross, director of Planned Giving and Endowments, at 215-832-0572.
