Kabbalat Shabbat Program for Seniors

The Klein Center City Senior Program will host its weekly Shabbat program from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Jewish Community Services Building.
 
Open the morning with coffee, tea and munchies while schmoozing with friends. Meet with RN Angela Geiger for a blood pressure screening from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The Supportive Older Women's Network (SOWN) will host a weekly discussion group with Amy Rubin and Arlene Segal. Choice between Exercise with Arlene and Current Events With Vince from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Rabbi Beth Janus will lead a Kabbalat Shababt service at 10:30 a.m., followed by a delicious hot kosher lunch from Betty the Caterer. The menu will feature: matzah ball soup, roasted chicken leg with red wine demiglaze, baked potato, broccoli, a challah roll and birthday cake.
 
This week January birthdays will be celebrated at 12:15 p.m., with musical entertainment by vocalist Kirk Mauer.
