Brad Gellman Photography

Greater Philadelphia Area

"My love for photography started early, working with experienced photographers just after my own Bar Mitzvah as a second shooter. I watched each of my superiors explore their own vision, their own creation, and I decided that someday I wanted to begin my own company.

Since I started my company in 2004, I've had the honor of being a first shooter at over 300 Weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, and special events. Each event is different and unique, and a chance to display my own vision that I have worked to create all these years. I love being a part of capturing a special day for people to show their family and friends for years to come.

I am lucky enough to have turned my passion into my career. I take pride in giving others the gift of capturing the moments my clients want to remember for a lifetime. Jewish events are particularly special to photograph, having grown up in a Jewish home and keeping Judaism alive in my everyday life by teaching Hebrew School.

It has been an interesting journey now planning my own wedding, which will take place this coming August, 2013. Having seen weddings of all faiths take place, it's been amazing to be on the other side of weddings for the first time. I am excited to see what the photographer of my own wedding will capture through their own perspective. I might be a more hands on groom than most, having been to more weddings than my fiance has!

Making people feel comfortable in front of the camera is something I strive to do at every event. I consider my work original and inventive, a frozen moment that tells a story. Please feel free to contact me with any comments, questions or inquires."
