They are women, hear them roar? Well, at least speak clearly and authoritatively. That was the tone at the fourth Edna S.Tuttleman Symposium on Women, "Women and Resiliency: Finding Strength, Creating Change," presented by Jewish Family and Children's Service of Greater Philadelphia at the Merion Tribute House in Merion Station. Author/activist Sherri Mandel was keynote speaker and Jane Golden of the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program was honoree. Feting females (from left) are Max Tuttleman, Edna's grandson; Paula Goldstein, JFCS president/CEO; Kristine and David Tuttleman (Edna's son); Ilana Dean-Schmidt, the agency's major gifts officer; Pia Eisenberg, its vice president of development and communications; Rabbi Elisa Goldberg, conference co-chair as well as JFCS director of Jewish Community Services; and Sara Wenger, conference co-chair and JFCS assistant director of education and outreach services.
