The Wills Eye Ball was held recently at the Union League in celebration of the 50th anniversary of its Glaucoma Service.

The William and Ann Goldberg Glaucoma Service and Research Laboratories at Wills Eye is considered one of the leading eye-care services in the United States.

Funds raised at the function were targeted for the Ann and George L. Spaeth, M.D. Glaucoma Fund, which stresses research by fellows, faculty and residents.

Wills Eye Hospital has been operating continuously since 1832, longer than any other facility of its kind in the nation.
