Through the Gates: Exploring the Omer Together
We will move through the weeks between Pesach and Shavuot as a group, in chevruta (study partners), deepening and magnifying our individual experience of counting the days by our sustained presence with one another. Chant and poetry, along with the spiritual tools of journaling, meditation, blessing, and prayer will be our guides and constant companions. No experience of counting the Omer is necessary. All are welcome!
Our journey will culminate with an evening of chant on May 13th with Rabbi Shefa Gold, in preparation of Shavuot. This will be a separate event from the workshop, but interconnected, and will take place at GJC.
