The Watermark at Logan Square Presents “VA Aid and Attendance Benefits and Medicare”

Philadelphia seniors can learn a variety of ways to become, as Ben Franklin once wrote, “healthy, wealthy and wise” at several FREE lunchtime seminars offered by The Watermark at Logan Square in Center City. Located in a luxury high-rise in the heart of the city, The Watermark at Logan Square welcomes local seniors to tour the residence and hear experts on a variety of helpful topics throughout August, September and October. There is limited seating and advance reservations are required. The Watermark at Logan Square is located just off the Benjamin Franklin Parkway at Two Franklin Town Boulevard in Philadelphia.   • Thursday, August 15, 2013, 11:30 a.m.: “VA Aid and Attendance Benefits and Medicare” –Scott Ferguson, a Chartered Federal Employee Counselor with special expertise in government entitlement programs, shares important information for senior veterans and their surviving spouses about a little-known program of financial assistance available to qualifying seniors who served in the armed forces during wartime, including World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Lunch & Learn programs begin at 11:30, starting with a tour of the community, followed by the presentation and a buffet meal.
