Temple Sinai - Tot Shabbat

April 6, 2013 11:00 AM-12:00 PM

Shabbat mornings at Temple Sinai include our special Tot Shabbat service, a monthly Shabbat experience for toddlers, preschoolers and their families, from 11 a.m. till noon. Children, parents, and grandparents are all invited to enjoy the Shabbat atmosphere and camaraderie.

This one-hour program is designed for our youngest children, and we offer a special sing-a-long service accompanied by a craft, game, dance, or other interactive experience.

Our goal?  To share with our children the joy of Shabbat!

At the end of the service, the leader escorts the families to the main Sanctuary and the children sit on the steps of the bimah with the Rabbi for the concluding prayer.

The morning concludes with everyone enjoying kiddush (the blessing of the wine), motzi (the blessing of thechallah) and light refreshments in the auditorium.
