Perelman Jewish Day School vice president and development chair Tracey Specter (center) -- also a board member of the Philadelphia Jewish Day School Collaborative, the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and Maccabiah USA -- finds time to help organize the upcoming National Leadership Conference on Hunger and Poverty. For her unstinting efforts in volunteerism, philanthropy and generosity, she recently was honored by the Drueding Center at its 25th anniversary celebration. We are family -- and it's quite a family: From left, Tracey's in-laws, Sen. Arlen Specter and Joan Specter, and husband Shanin help the honoree celebrate, as do Sisters of the Holy Redeemer Provincial Superior Sr. Anne Marie Haas and Tracy's parents, Carole and Alvin Pearl, at the recent gala at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
