Service of Healing

January 5, 2013 10:00 AM

Beth Israel Congregation will host a special healing service and panel discussion about the recent mass killings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., following Shabbat services.

The presentation will include a panel of experts who will discuss how to confront the sad reality in our society of occurrences such as this and how feasible it would be to prevent it from happening again. The religious view of this matter will be discussed at a future Shabbat service.

Kiddush will follow the service and program.
