Jerome F. Rose, 88 died at Bryn Mawr Hospital of a massive stroke. He was the son of Rose and Sol Rose. He joined the Navy at the age of 17 to serve as a medic in WWII. He was a graduate of Central High School and Temple University. Mr. Rose worked as an executive at Marstan Industries, a paper product distribution company, until the age of 70. Jerry was a weekly volunteer at the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House for the past 15 years. Jerry is survived by Ellen Jane (nee Magill) Rose, his beloved wife of 62 years. He was the loving dad to Melissa and Michael Schorr and the late Nancy Rose Tannenbaum, devoted Poppy to Meredith Rose Schorr.
