Internationally known scholar and author Rebbetzin Tziporah Heller recently gave a lunchtime lecture titled "Marriage in Jewish Law" at the Center City law offices of Allen L. Rothenberg. Heller, who lives in Israel and is a full-time faculty member of Neve Yerushalayim College for Jewish Studies in Jerusalem, presented her insights into halachah, along with the role of secular law, in the establishment of Jewish marriage. She is pictured here with Rabbi Alexander Coleman (left), educational director and outreach director for Etz Chaim, and Rabbi Dovid Wachs, executive director of the center. The lecture was presented by the Etz Chaim Center for Jewish Studies and was attended by two-dozen people; Heller spoke later the same day on the topic of juggling life's challenges at the center's Elkins Park location.
