RADER

LAWRENCE QUINTEN RADER (95) died on 2/12/13 at Devon Manor, PA.  He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Charlotte (Polingher); his daughter, Leslie, of Philadelphia; son, Bruce; second wife, Nancy (Melnick); his sister, Lucille Abramowitz and brother, Harold.  Having been raised in East Orange, NJ, Lawrence was an alumni of Rutgers a CPA and served as a Warrant Officer in the Army Intelligence Corp during WWII. For many years, he was the Boy Scout Leader of Troop #309 and also enjoyed being a member of the local bowling league in Mt. Airy.  He was a long-time employee of the Phila. Int'l Airport, retiring as the Chief of Administration, Division of Aviation. For over a decade, he served on the Board of Directors of his condo association. A gentle, kind, generous & loving man with a great dry wit, he will be so dearly missed.
