Congregation Beth Hamedrosh Hosts Rabbi Ailon Meir On Sunday, Feb 3 @ 5:45 PM

Title: “Receiving the Torah on a National Level – Reevaluation of our relationship with the Torah during the rebirth of the State of Israel”. This lecture is free and is for men and women.

Rabbi Ailon Meir made Aliya at the age of 19 from Staten Island, New York. Rabbi Meir is the Founder and Director of the Yeshivat Har Hamor Friday Morning Beit Midrash Program for American students.

He studied in Yeshiva of Flatbush, Yeshivat Shaalvim, Yeshivat Shavei Hevron, as well as the Kollel in Charish and Atzmona, Gush Katif. Rabbi Meir teaches in Torat Shraga. He serves in the IDF reserves as a First Lieutenant in a Tank Battalion, and as a speaker on the topic of "Fighting Spirit".

Rabbi Meir, his wife Nechama, and their 6 beautiful children live happily in the Maale Zeitim neighborhood on the Mount of Olives, Yerushalayim overlooking the Temple Mount.
