Bonnie Rynar and Yukio Otsubo of Roseland, N.J.; and William Walker of Bainbridge, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Elana Michele Walker, to Matthew Evan Hoffman, son of Marna and Carl Hoffman of Richboro, Pa.

 

Elana is a graduate of Barnard University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She earned a Certificate in Perio­dontics from the University of Pennsylvania. Elana maintains a private practice in periodontics and implant dentistry in Yardley, Pa., and Florham Park, N.J.

 

Matthew is a graduate of Brandeis University and Columbia University Law School. He is a director with Chatham Financial, an independent derivatives and financial risk management advisory and technology firm in Kennett Square.

 

Sharing in the couple’s happiness are Elana’s sister, Jennifer, and Matthew’s brother, Ross.

 

Elana is the granddaughter of Leon Rynar and the late Ros­lyn Rynar of Livingston, N.J. Matthew is the grandson of the late Manuel and Deborah Freedman of Richboro, and the late Allan and Ethel Hoffman of Philadelphia.

 

The couple, who lives in Yardley, is planning a November wedding in Florham Park.
