The students at Center City Jewish Preschool, a Chabad-sponsored institution, got lessons in hamantashen baking Wednesday morning at Homemade Goodies by Roz in Queen Village.
Owner Roz Bratt stood over a preparation table in the kitchen of the bakery and helped the 3- and 4-year-olds use a rolling pin to flatten the dough and then shape it into the three-sided cookies. The future pastry chefs sang Purim-themed songs as they waited for their turn to make the cherry-filled hamantashen. Check out this video!
