The Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy in Bryn Mawr was the place to be on Sunday, Feb. 10. Synagogues, Hillels, Jewish day schools, Jewish community centers, singles, youth groups, senior citizens, teens, children and entire families made the day a truly “Super Sunday” for Jews in Greater Philadelphia, in Israel and around the world who depend on the programs and services funded by the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.
The daylong phonathon helped to kick off the 2013 Federation Community Campaign in a grand fashion.
The event raised close to $800,000 with additional pledges still coming by mail and Internet. It was a day when our Jewish community proved that when we work together, we can accomplish extraordinary things!
