Donna and Richard Solomon of Blue Bell announce the engagement of their son, Daniel, to Rachel Aresty, daughter of David and Patti Aresty of Far Hills, N.J.

 

Daniel is a graduate of the Smeal College of Business at Pennsylvania State University. Rachel graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in psychology.

 

Daniel is the grandson of Tamy and Tony Parris, and the late Stuart Rubin, Harriet Solo-mon, and the late Saul Solomon. Rachel is the granddaughter of Gerald and Jo Aresty, and the late Eve and Izzy Back of Birmingham, Ala.

 

Sharing in the couple’s joy are siblings Scott and Sarah, Joey, Ben, and Adam and Holly.

 

The couple, who works and lives in Manhattan, is planning a 2014 wedding.
