JoAnn and Peter Friedman of Ambler, Dr. Linda Grobman of Philadelphia, and Dr. Alan Silverberg of Wayne announce the engagement of their children, Bonnie Lauren Friedman and Dr. Michael Baran Silverberg.

Bonnie, a graduate of Upper Dublin High School and Pennsylvania State University, is a style consultant and founder of Monalda4 Accessories, LLC.

Michael is a graduate of the Haverford School, the University of Pennsylvania and Thomas Jefferson Medical College. He is a psychiatric resident at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Sharing in their happiness is Bonnie's sister, Stacey Friedman, and Michael's sister, Kimberlee Silverberg.

Bonnie is the granddaughter of Gloria and Harvey Friedman of Boynton Beach, Fla., formerly of Cheltenham; and the late Harriet and Bernard Goldstein of Wyncote. Michael is the grandson of Marilyn Grobman of King of Prussia and the late Robert Grobman, and the late Mary and Solomon Silverberg of Philadelphia.

The couple, who currently lives in Baltimore, Md., is planning a May wedding in Philadelphia.
