Arnie and Janet Sherrin of Langhorne; Lydia and George Cotz of Suffern, N.Y.; and James and Dorrie Peikon of San Francisco, Calif., announce the engagement of their children, Lindsay Esther Sherrin and Zachary David Peikon.
Lindsay graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She also earned her MA in health counseling, an MS in school psychology and a PsyD in school-clinical and child psychology from Yeshiva University. Lindsay is currently employed as a school psychologist in Westchester, N.Y.
Zachary graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He also earned an MBA from Baruch College. Zachary is currently employed as an executive recruiter.
Lindsay is the granddaughter of the late Werner Martin Goldschmidt and Diana Grace Goldschmidt, the late Kenneth Jeryl Sherrin and Lillian Sherrin. Zachary is the grandson of Irene and Kurt Silber, June Sturz and the late Hy Peikon.
Sharing in the couple’s happiness are Lindsay’s sisters, Jamie Rachel and Emily Rebecca, and Zachary’s brother and sister-in-law, Joshua and Claire Peikon, and sister Paris Cotz.
The couple, who currently lives in Manhattan, is planning to be wed in Philadelphia during the summer of 2014.
