Arthur Raymond Freedman, 87, of Phoenix, AZ, died August 10, 2013 while traveling with his wife. In World War II Mr Freedman served in both the European and Pacific theaters, and earned a bronze star for his service. He received an engineering degree from the University of Pennsylvania and was a long time director of Planning and Design there. In later years he ran his own consulting business, and later retired, in Phoenix, AZ. He is survived by Doris Feldman Freedman, his beloved wife of 62 years. He was the father of 3: Richard Freedman, Lisa Miller, and Susan Turnansky, and the grandfather of 7: Daniel Miller, Brooke Miller, Aimee Miller, Jessica Turnansky, Morrison (aka Mat) Turnansky, Andre Freedman, and Aidan Freedman.
