To your health — and to everyone’s sense of social justice! That was the type of toast that one would have heard at a special reception sponsored by American
Associates, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Jenkintown. Special speakers: BGU professor Nadav Davidovitch (second from left), addressing the Jewish state’s health care industry, and professor Michael Yudell (left), director of Drexel U.’s new program on public health ethics. Both profs are also working together on a National Institutes of Health-sponsored study that focuses on autism, ethics and history. Joining the two (from left) are reception host Shirley Tauber, AABGU Philadelphia Chapter board member; BGU researcher Uri Schwed; and Dr. Rob
Zipkin, Philadelphia Chapter vice chair/ health sciences committee.
