Michael, Ponn April 22, 2013. A native of Boston, WW II veteran and a graduate of Bentley University. He was employed at the Large Jet Engine Dept. at General Electric in Cincinnati, and the Boeing Co. in Ridley Twp., where he was a board member of Cong. Ohev Shalom. When he retired at the end of 1987, he did numerous volunteer jobs, was a board member of RSVP, a legal advocate for Delaware County Legal Assistance, was named Retiree of the Year by the Boeing Management Assoc., Man of the Year and Meritorious Service Awardee by Cong. Ohev Shalom, and Point of Light by President Bush in 1991. Beloved husband of Sylvia (nee Leyrow). Contributions in his memory may be made to Cong.
