Opening Exhibit

The Philadelphia Museum of Jewish Art at Congregation Rodeph Shalom will host an opening reception and artist's talk for its new exhibit "Imagined Israel: Mixed Media Paintings,"  by Fran Gallun.

A latke-and-vodka party is scheduled to follow the reception at  7 p.m., featuring mini craft cocktails with paired hors d'oeuvres, a latke buffet, dinner, desserts, coffee and tea. Music provided by Art Fischman.
 
Cost: Patron, $75; Benefactor, $125; Angel, $250
 
The exhibit will run through April 15. The  museum is open Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (and by appointment).
