Affinity group members learn more about Federation and critical Jewish needs through volunteering.

From its start in 1901 -- and today -- Federation has existed as a dynamic organization. While it is anchored in Judaism's cherished traditions of tzedakah (justice) and tikkun olam (social action), Federation remains receptive to new ideas and fresh perspectives provided by community members like you.

Federation is the central address that connects Jews who need help with Jews who can provide that help, a caring collaborative of donors and recipients, volunteers and professionals.

This New Year, Federation leadership and staff invite you to make a Federation connection. Federation involvement is relevant and enriching for individuals of every age and in every stage of their Jewish journey. The following Federation affinity groups offer many opportunities to develop valuable personal and professional relationships while learning more about Federation and the critical Jewish needs we address.

Jewish Federation Real Estate (JFRE) connects, engages and mobilizes volunteer and financial resources of the Philadelphia real estate industry to address the Jewish community's most critical needs and priorities today and into the future.

Connects: JFREThinks -- the networking and educational opportunities we offer.

Engages: JFREDoes -- the hands-on volunteer opportunities we present.

Mobilizes: JFREGives -- the dollars we raise for and invest in community priorities and special projects.

Real estate professionals in their 20s, 30s and 40s are invited to join JFRE's Young Real Estate Division. For more information about this affinity and a list of upcoming events, visit www.jfre.net.
