Nancy and Howard Wenocur of Elkins Park announce the marriage of their daughter, Rachel Brina Wenocur, to Andrew Mark Zidel, son of Edie and Larry Zidel of Minnetonka, Minn.
The ceremony and reception took place on Oct. 21 at Congregation Adath Jeshurun in Elkins Park.
Rabbi Seymour Rosenbloom and Cantor Howard Glantz, along with Rabbi Joseph Edelheit of Minneapolis, officiated.
Ellyn Taxin was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Eve Fogarty, sister of the groom; Alissa Oltman; Lori Zlatkin; Sapna Singh; Ruthie Fisher; and Melanie Couton. Elle Fogarty, niece of the groom, was the flower girl.
Micah Hart was the best man. Groomsmen included Sam Wenocur, brother of the bride; Joe Fogarty, brother-in-law of the groom; Aaron Cukier; Charlie Hirsch; Justin Blumberg; and Sam Rosen. Ushers included Eric Bauer, Andy Sherman and Ethan Kravitz. Ben Kamen, cousin of the bride, served as the ringbearer.
Julia Oestreich and Mitch Eiven witnessed the signing of the ketubah.
Completing the wedding party were the bride's grandparents, Vicki Lipton, and Sylvia and Isadore Wenocur. Rachel is also the granddaughter of the late Harold Lipton.
Andrew is the grandson of Toby Cohen and the late Irv Cohen, the late Regina and Arthur Zidel, and the late Evelyn and Robert Hemerick.
After a honeymoon in Aruba, the couple lives in Center City.
