Rabbi Jacob Staub, son of Andrew H. Staub and Frieda Staub Cohen of New York City, and Michael Spitko, son of Michael A. and Mary Spitko of Bridgeport, Pa., announce their marriage.
The ceremony and reception took place on Nov. 8 at the Desmond Hotel in Malvern.
Rabbi Deborah Waxman of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College officiated.
Rabbi David Teutsch conducted the ketubah signing and reading, and Dr. Sylvia Boorstein offered blessings. Rabbi Amy Eilberg and Rabbi David Dunn Bauer presided over the Tish. Drs. Norman and Adina Newberg witnessed the signing of the ketu-bah.
Michael Pishock and Andrew Staub, son of the groom, served as best men.
Included in the procession were Leah Staub and Hana Staub, daughters of the groom; Corinne Pishock; Olivia Deal; and Marni Wichelhaus. Andrew Fadgen was the ring bearer, and Jenna Hinckley served as flower girl.
Staub is a professor at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College. Spitko works in banking.
The couple lives in West Mount Airy.
