Evan Swartz, son of Jackee (nee Yerusalim) and Dr. Allen Swartz of Rydal, and Sari Sharaby, daughter of Frayda (nee Rubinroit) and Offer Sharaby of Queens, N.Y., announce their engagement.
Sari, a graduate of Brown University and the University of Pennsylvania Wharton Master of Business Administration program, is a senior financial analyst with the Guggenheim Museum.
Evan, a graduate of Philadelphia University, is a project manager with Sign Expo Tribeca.
Sharing in the couple's happiness are Sari's grandparents, Frances Rubinroit of Roseland N.J., and Rivka Sharabi of Holon, Israel; along with sister Orli Sharaby who recently returned to Queens after living in Prague for several years.
Evan's family includes sister-in-law and brother, Michal (Elimelech) and Aric Swartz, and nephews Niv and Itai of Nes Ziona, Israel.
Sari is also the granddaughter of the late Sol Rubinroit and Haim Sharabi. Evan's grandparents are the late Ed and Adele Swartz, and the late Joseph and Edith Yerusalim.
The couple, who lives in Sunnyside, N.Y., is planning a summer wedding.
