Lily and Paul Rothman of Pine Valley announce the engagement of their daughter, Robin Glenda Rothman, to Sean Michael Taylor, son of Kitzi Taylor of Valrico, Fla.; and Col. Sid Taylor of Greensboro, Ga.

Robin is a graduate of the University of the Arts, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theater. Shortly thereafter she moved to New York City to continue her pursuit of theater and began studying and performing improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade and Magnet Theater, where she currently performs and hosts musical improv shows every week. Robin works for a lawyer in the office of the General Council and executive vice president at Sony Corporation.

Sean, who graduated Dartmouth College with a double major in American government and film, also performs weekly at the Magnet Theater, where the couple met, with his five-year Veteran House Team, Junior Varsity.  He is a film producer, webmaster and pizza critic, having traveled as far as Italy with Robin this past October for his blog:

Sharing in the couple's happiness are Sean's sisters, Valerie and Melanie, along with his brother Jay, sister-in-law Amy and brother-in-law Bud.

Robin is the granddaughter of Sybil Samuel Shore and the late David Samuel. She is also the step-granddaughter of David Shore of Huntingdon Valley, and the late Carl Rothman and the late Sylvia Rothman of Philadelphia. Sean is the grandson of Donna Lee Taylor and the late Col. Jay Johnson Taylor, and Catherine Cawley and the late Joseph Cawley.

The couple, who currently live in the Hell's Kitchen area of Manhattan, is planning an April wedding in Philadelphia and a honeymoon in Hawaii.
