Rena and Maury Shulmana of Merion and West Palm Beach, Fla., and Susannah and Marvin Rosenberg of Vienna, Va., announce the marriage of their children, Debra Lois Shulman and Michael David Rosenberg.

    The ceremony and reception took place on May 31 at the Alumni House of the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va.

    Rabbi Me'ira Iliinsky of Temple Beth El in Williamsburg officiated.

    Mitra Sharafi served as maid of honor, and Mark Schaerf was best man. Zoe Salant-Ronen was the flower girl.

    Completing the wedding party were Andrew Shulman, brother of the bride; Robert Rosenberg, brother of the groom; Sidney Shulman; grandfather of the bride; Shira Weidenbaum; Io Salant-Ronen; and Wade Bartlett.

    Witnessing the signing of the ketubah were Rabbi Iliinsky and Mark Schaerf.

    Debra is the granddaughter of the late Lillian Shulman, and Mary and Edward Cittrons. Mike is the grandson of the late Beatrice and Martin Rosenberg, and Fanny and Arthur Casher.

    Debra, a summa cum laude of Harvard University, earned an M.Phil from Oxford University and a Ph.D. from Yale University. She is an assistant professor of government specializing in Middle East politics at the College of William & Mary.

    Mike graduated from Emerson College. He is a user interface developer for Comcast Interactive Media.

    The couple, who is taking the last name Shushan, lives in Williamsburg.
