Faith Newman and Dr. Gideon Orbach were married on Nov. 18 at the Stotesbury Mansion in Philadelphia.
Rabbi Alvin Berkun, rabbi emeritus of Tree of Life Congregation in Pittsburgh, officiated.
Faith is the daughter of Dr. Andrew and Sandra Newman of Huntingdon Valley, and granddaughter of Louis Newman and the late Ruth Newman, as well as the late Benjamin and Rose Mislove. She was, until recently, a vice president of artists and repertoire in the music industry, having worked at Def Jam Records, Columbia Records and Jive Records in New York.
Gideon is the son of Drs. Alexander and Linda Orbach of Pittsburgh, and the grandson of Rose Orbach and the late Charles Orbach, and the late David and Beatrice Berger. He is a chiropractor affiliated with the Pain Release Clinic in Pittsburgh.
Sabelle Breer was the matron of honor. Maid of honor was the bride's cousin, Megan Dichter. Bridesmaids were Marjorie Harris and Nancy Messonnier.
Benjamin Orbach, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Edward Orbach, uncle of the groom; Sam Rosenberg; and Vincent Pacilio.
Neil Dichter and Sam Rosenberg witnessed the signing of the ketubah.
The couple, who recently relocated from New York City to Pittsburgh, plan to honeymoon this spring in Israel and Egypt.
