Judith (nee Smith) and Michael Elkins of Mount Laurel, N.J.; and Laura (nee Schmerzler) and Joel Oppenheimer of Barrington, Ill., announce the engagement of their children, Adam Elkins and Arielle Oppenheimer.

    Adam graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in sports marketing and management. He is the service advisor at Elkins Chevrolet, the family-operated dealership in Marlton, N.J.

    Arielle also graduated from Indiana University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications, and a minor in business. She works in the talent acquisition department at Pennrose Management Company in Philadelphia.

    Adam is the grandson of Seymour and Elinor Smith of Atlantic City, N.J., (formerly of Huntingdon Valley); and Gene and Sally Elkins of Naples, Fla., and Long Beach Island, N.J. Arielle is the granddaughter of Professor Lawrence J. and Glory Schmerzler of Verona, N.J., (formerly of South Orange, N.J.); and Ruth Oppenheimer of Barrington, Ill., (formerly of Scottsdale, Ariz.) and the late Hans Oppenheimer.

    Celebrating in the couple's happiness are Adam's brothers, Jason and Josh, and future sister-in-law Nikki (Jason's fiancee); along with Arielle's brother, David Oppenheimer.

    The couple lives in Center City Philadelphia and is looking forward to a June wedding in Chicago.
