Debbie and Elliott Maser of Holland, Pa.; Zamir Koko of Seattle; and Mirjam Koko of Fairbanks, Alaska, announce the engagement of their children, Tobi Shira Maser and Jordan Daniel Koko.

    Tobi is a graduate of American University with a degree in biology and chemistry. She also holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University. Tobi is an emergency veterinarian at an animal hospital in Turnersville, N.J.

    Jordan graduated from the University of Alaska in Fairbanks with a degree in political science and psychology. He also holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Temple University School of Law. Jordan is an attorney with a Philadelphia law firm.

    Sharing in the couple's joy are Jaime, sister of the bride; Rachel (nee Maser) and Robbie Betesh; nieces Eliana and Olivia Betesh; Eden Koko, sister of the groom; and Regina Wolman, grandmother of the groom.

    Tobi is the granddaughter of the late Harry and Bryna Schmerling, and Edward and Alvina Maser. Jordan is the grandson of the late Ezra and Marcel Koko, and Israel Wolman.

    The couple, who lives in Northern Liberties, is planning a May wedding.
