Richard and Susan Chesney of Dresher, and Dr. Alan and Karen Lubitz of Hewlett Harbor, N.Y., announce the engagement of their children, Dr. Gregg Law-rence Chesney and Taylor Blake Lubitz.

    Gregg graduated from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and religion and earned a medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He is currently chief resident of the combined residency in emergency medicine and internal medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Gregg has accepted a fellowship in critical care medicine at Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif., for July.

    Taylor graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and earned highest honors with distinction. She holds an M.S.Ed from Pace University and will graduate with a Psy.D. in school-clinical child psychology from Pace University in May. She is currently a psychology intern at Hackensack University Medical Center.

    Sharing in their happiness is Gregg's brother, Michael, and Taylor's sister, Whitney.

    Gregg is the grandson of Mildred Chesney of Willow Grove, the late James Chesney, and the late Elaine and Alexander Berger of Brooklyn, N.Y. Taylor is the granddaughter of Selma Zimmer of Riverdale, N.Y., the late Stanley Zimmer, and the late Natalie and Irving Lubitz.

    The couple, who lives in Manhattan, is planning an April wedding.
