Stanley and Karen Sokolove of Bryn Mawr announce the engagement of their son, Mark Evan Sokolove, to Lee Leshem, daughter of Gadi and Miri Leshem of Northridge, Calif.

    Mark, a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. He also holds a master's degree in public policy from the University of Maryland. Mark is the deputy communications director for the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA) in Washington, D.C.

    Lee, a graduate of UCLA, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and international relations. She also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kogod School of Business at American University. Lee is a management consultant for BearingPoint, Inc., in Washington, D.C.

    Mark is the grandson of Morton and Gloria Plaum, and the late Florence Plaum; and the late Miriam and Abraham Sokolove. Lee is the granddaughter of the Pola Rosenblat and the late Baruch Rosenblat, and Stella Finkelstein and the late Yeheskel Finkelstein.

    The couple, who lives in Rockville, Md., is planning a spring wedding in the Washington, D.C., area.
