Simon and Lisa Kimmelman of Newtown announce the engagement of their daughter, Pamela Arielle Kimmelman, to Jason Bryant Tanenbaum, son of Jeffrey and Karen Tanenbaum of Mount Kisco, N.Y.
    Pamela, a graduate of Pennsbury High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Muhlenberg College and a Master of Science degree in education from Wilkes University. Pamela is a Spanish teacher at Holicong Middle School in the Central Bucks School District.
    Jason, a graduate of Horace Greeley High School in Chappaqua, N.Y., earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics at Dickinson College and a Master of Science degree in psychology from St. Joseph’s University. Jason is currently pursuing a doctorate in psychology at Widener University.
    Pamela is the granddaughter of Nona Levin Abrams, the late Dr. Henry Abrams and Harvey B. Levin; and the late Rita and Dr. Benedict B. Kimmelman. Jason is the grandson of Edith Casper and the late Lester Cas­per, and Iris Tanenbaum and the late Alfred Tanenbaum.
    Sharing in the couple’s joy are siblings Elizabeth Kimmelman Schwartz, Daniel Schwartz, Emily Kimmelman and Julia Tanenbaum, along with both extended families.
    The couple, who currently lives in North Wales, Pa., is planning a June wedding in Philadelphia.
