Frannie and Scott Gordon of Holland, Pa., and Rebecca and Irv Gellman of Cheltenham announce the engagement of their children, Carly Paige Gordon and Brad Harvey Gellman.
Carly is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Latin American studies. She will complete work toward a master’s degree in international education from Drexel University in June. Carly currently works at the College of Global Studies at Arcadia University, where she advises study abroad students.
Brad is a graduate of Temple University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in communications with a focus on film. He currently works as a photographer at A.I. DuPont Nemours Children’s Hospital and also runs his own event photography business, Brad Gellman Photography. When he is not shooting, Brad is a religious school teacher at Congregation Kol Ami in Elkins Park and Tiferet Bet Israel in Blue Bell.
Carly is the granddaughter of the late Ida and Isadore Gordon, and Marty Gollis. Brad is the grandson of the late Mae and Norman Beitch, and Rose and Harry Gellman.
Sharing in the couple’s happiness are siblings Ilissa and Phil Hochman, Blair Gordon and Marni Gellman, along with Bubby Marcia Gollis, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The couple is planning a summer 2013 wedding.
