Victor and Nancy Minnick of Bordentown, N.J., announce the marriage of their daughter, Susan LeAnn, to Adam Israel Goldberg, son of Daniel and Debra Goldberg of Lawrenceville, N.J.

    The ceremony and reception took place on Aug. 1 at Skipper's Cove Beach Club in Waretown, N.J.

    Cantor David S. Wisnia officiated to the music of his grandson, singer/songwriter Avi Wisnia.

    Maids of honor were Christine Dougherty and Alyssa Brent, cousin of the groom.

    Groomsmen Aaron Goldberg, brother of the groom; David Minnick, brother of the bride; Douglas Seidel; and Mel Obst held the chupah, a century-old embroidered Kurdish tallit, for the ceremony.

    Completing the wedding party were Rita and Bernie Lipnick, grandparents of the groom; and Eleanor Lawton, grandmother of the bride.

    The signing of the ketubah was witnessed by the groom's godfather, Hiam Simon and his wife, Deborah.

    Susan and Adam met while studying radio, television and film at Rowan University. Adam is a television engineer for New Jersey Network. Susan, who earned a master's degree from the University of North Texas, is as member of the advisory board of the Mercer County Holocaust & Genocide Resource Center.

    The couple's celebration of the groom's Israeli heritage began at the wedding and continued with a honeymoon in Israel.
