Dr. Leonard and Jackie Brody of Huntingdon Valley announce the marriage of their daughter, Cheryl Suzanne Brody, to Andrew Julian Franklin, son of Rabbi Stephen and Karen Franklin of Yonkers, N.Y.
The ceremony took place on Nov. 15 at Old York Road Temple-Beth Am in Abington. The reception was at the Philmont Country Club in Huntingdon Valley.
Rabbi Stephen Franklin, father of the groom; Rabbi Robert Leib; Cantor Elena Zarkh; and student Rabbi Joshua Franklin, brother of the groom, officiated.
Lauren Muchnick served as maid of honor, and Karen Brody, aunt of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Kimberly Cohen, Elyssa Hammerman, Joanna Dreyfuss, Jennifer Lieberman, Rachel Perkes and Lauren Rubino.
Ross Franklin, brother of the groom, served as the best man. Groomsmen included Joshua Franklin, brother of the groom; Robert Brody, brother of the bride; Michael Franklin, uncle of the groom; Itai Amidor; David Dabscheck; and Murad Khan.
Completing the wedding party were Martin and Lillian Friedman, grandparents of the bride, and William Franklin, grandfather of the groom.
Drew is the grandson of Walter and Jeanne Spiegel, the late Rita Fauer Franklin and the late Mildred Franklin. Cheryl is the granddaughter of the late Claire Friedman; and the late Jack Brody, the late Ida Brody and the late Rose Brody.
After a honeymoon in France and Italy, the couple lives in New York City.
