Carol and Jules Einhorn of Langhorne, and Rabbi Moshe and Meira Saks of Calgary, Alberta, formerly of Bensalem, announce the engagement of their children, Rachel Devorah Einhorn and Ari Yehuda Saks.

    Rachel is a graduate of List College (the Joint Program between the Jewish Theological Seminary of America and Columbia University), and holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Jewish philosophy and sociology. A New York City Teaching Fellow pursuing a master's degree in special education, she is working as a high school teacher in the New York City school system.

    Ari, who is completing his final semester in List College, will earn Bachelor of Arts degrees in Bible and Middle Eastern Studies, and Asian languages and cultures. He is a head teacher at the Society for the Advancement of Judaism, and the weekly Torah reader at the Park Avenue Synagogue. Avi hopes to enter rabbinical school next fall.

    Rachel is the granddaughter of Mildred Feldman and the late Jerome Feldman, and Jesse Einhorn and the late Annette Einhorn. Ari is the grandson of Ruth Shapiro and the late Rabbi Alexander Shapiro, and Robert and Yetta Saks.

    The couple is planning an August wedding.
