Arlene and Arnold Aronovitz of Society Hill announce the marriage of their daughter, Cindy Beth Aronovitz, to Jacob Franklin Cogen, son of Dr. Frederick and Anne Cogen of Bala Cynwyd.

    The ceremony and reception took place on Oct. 22 at the Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia.

    Rabbi Harold Waintrup and Cantor Elena Zarkh officiated.

    Melissa Churchill served as the matron of honor, and Carla Shackleford was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Samantha Millrood, Terri Conway, Kimberly Perri and Marney Rudnick. Hannah Cogen, niece of the groom, was the flower girl, escorted by Rachel Cogen, sister-in-law of the groom.

    Samuel Cogen, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen included Jason Aronovitz, brother of the bride; Joshua Goldblum; Anthony Camerota; Tom Scott; Chris Sado; Geoffrey Rezvani; and John Dodson. Quincy and Miles Aronovitz, nephews of the bride, served as ring bearers, escorted by Cory Aronovitz, brother of the bride.

    Completing the wedding party were Blanche Korson, grandmother of the groom; Dr. Jules and Betty Eingorn, grandparents of the groom; and Sadie Aronovitz, grandmother of the bride.

    Cindy is the granddaughter of the late Harry Aronovitz, and Joseph and Elaine Shusterman. Jake is the grandson of the late Jules Korson and Louis Cogen.

    Gregg Krantz and Joshua Goldblum witnessed the signing of the ketubah.

    After a honeymoon in Los Cabos, Mexico, the couple lives in Center City.
