Stephen and Eileen Chopnick of Wynnewood, and Mark and Tamara Sofair-Fisch of West Orange, N.J., announce the engagement of their children, Sarah Bridget Chopnick and Adam L. Sofair-Fisch.

    Sarah earned a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude with majors in politics and economics and a minor in Near Eastern Jewish studies from Brandeis University. She also holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Seton Hall University School of Law. Sarah is a staff attorney with SecondMarket in New York City.

    Adam graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Rutgers University with a bachelor's degree in political science and earned a Juris Doctor degree from the Fordham University School of Law. He is an attorney in New York City.

    Sarah is the granddaughter of Elinor Chopnick and the late Harry Chopnick of Brooklyn, and the late James and Eleanor Monahan of Atlantic Highlands, N.J. Adam is the grandson of Ruth Fisch and the late Sidney Fisch of Springfield, N.J.; and the late Dr. Abraham and Bertha Sofair of Scarsdale, N.Y.

    Sharing in the couple's happiness are Sarah's sister, Susan Chopnick, and Adam's brother and sister-in-law, Ari and Teri Sofair-Fisch.

    Along with their family and friends, the couple look forward to a fall wedding in Philadelphia.
