Barbara and Mickey Black of Philadelphia announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Summer Black, to Eric Jason Morin, son of Susan Morin of Colchester, Vt., and the late Michael Morin.

    Anna is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, cum laude. She also holds a master's degree in the teaching of English from Columbia University's Teachers College. Anna teaches sixth- and eighth-grade English at the Horace Mann School in Riverdale, N.Y. She also works as a division leader at Camp Timber Tops in Greeley, Pa.

    Eric is a graduate of Bowdoin College with a Bachelors of Arts degree in history. He also holds a graduate degree from Drexel University in higher education administration. Eric works as the assistant dean of student affairs at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.

    Sharing in the couple's joy are Anna's brother, Lee Forest Black; her grandparents Julian and Rita Ehrenberg of Audubon, Pa.; and Annette and Marvin Black of Philadelphia and Long Boat Key, Fla.; along with Eric's sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Keith Phelan of Colchester; and his grandparents, Irwin and Vicky Zuckerman of Tamarac, Fla.

    The couple met at Pine Forest Camp when they were children. They plan to be married there on Sept. 5.
