Scott Jason Solow, son of Steve and Susan Solow, and Sara Abigail Aronchick, daughter of Mark and Judith Aronchick, will be married Aug. 31 in Philadelphia at a ceremony to be officiated by Rabbi Neil Cooper of Temple Beth Hillel/Beth El in Wynnewood.
Scott lives in New York and is a third-year student at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. He also attended the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and Lower Merion High School. Scott is a former All-Ivy college lacrosse player and High School All-American.
Sara, who lives in New Haven, Conn., is a second-year student at the Yale Law School. She attended Akiba Hebrew Academy and graduated summa cum laude from Yale College. Following graduation, Sara worked at both Goldman Sachs for the chief U.S. economist and at the Center for American Progress, a think tank in Washington, D.C.
The couple has known each other since they were children, as their families took ski vacations together each winter. They were engaged in September.
