Dr. Stanley and Rayna Block Goldfarb of Bryn Mawr, and Nicholas and Marla Lieberman Allard of Washington, D.C., announce the engagement of their children, Michael Goldfarb and Hilary Allard.
Michael graduated from the Haverford School and from Princeton University with a degree in history. He is an editorial assistant with The Weekly Standard, a political magazine in Washington, D.C.
Hilary graduated with honors from Princeton University with a degree in art history. She works at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., and will begin a master's degree program at Harvard's Graduate School of Design in the fall.
Michael is the grandson of the late Max and Belle Block. Hilary is the granddaughter of Ephraim and Lenore Lieberman, and Nicholas and Lillian Allard.
The couple, who will live in Cambridge, Mass., is planning a May wedding.
