Federation’s cutting-edge Choice Food Program at the Klein JCC in Northeast Philadelphia has only been in operation since early June and already there is a waiting list of 100. Program growth, according to site manager Sabina Dopiro, is slowed by a lack of community volunteers.
When Camp Harlam began its 2013 season on June 26, the campers arriving from up and down the East Coast went “gaga” over the sight of two new GaGa courts — one made possible by the cash and sweat equity expended by members of Federation’s Men’s Cabinet.
