February 26, 2013 12:00 PM-2:00 PM

LUNCH & LEARN

The Gershman Y has taken two great activities, eating and learning, and combined them for a great new program: Lunch and Learn! Enjoy a delicious catered lunch and then expand your mind as some of the area’s best instructors talk about and lead discussion on fascinating topics.

With Dr. Elliot Ratzman

What does the Jewish tradition have to say about Christianity? What do the Rabbis think about Jesus? New scholarship suggests that Christianity began as an internal theological dispute, not as the creation of an "anti-Jewish" religion. We'll take a look at how Jewish thinkers--from Maimonides to Martin Buber--understand Christianity theologically.
