It was all about sit-ups — and take notice — at the opening of the Klein Active Adult Center, which officially debuted at ceremonies held at Congregation Adath Jeshurun in Elkins Park. Geared for those age 60 and older and offered by the Klein JCC and co-sponsored by Montgomery County Aging and Adult Services, the new center drew a swarm of communal participants to its dedication. From left are Steve Klein, chair of Klein JCC; Andre Krug, its CEO; Josh Shapiro, chairman of the Board of Commissioners of Montgomery County; Alma Jacobs, advisory council chair of Montgomery County's Aging and Adult Services and former secretary of aging for Pennsylvania; and  Brian D. Gralnick, director, Center for Social Responsibility, Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia
